Professor Faustin Kamuzora

Kamuzora is a professor, author, speaker, consultant, administrator and Rotarian who is always learning and is passionate about leadership and community service with 30 years of experience in academia and public administration. He has published a number of papers in local and international journals, authored four books on research methods and economic development, been a visiting scholar and external examiner for a number of local and international education institutions. 

Kamuzora served as deputy vice-chancellor (for finance and administration) at Mzumbe University, Tanzania for eight years. He is also an accomplished trainer, coach, and mentor. He has led and participated in a number of training workshops in fields such as leadership development, systems thinking, information systems management, economic development and strategic management.

He is currently the Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (Policy and Coordination) after serving the Tanzanian government in same capacity in Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication (responsible for the Communication sector) and the Vice President’s Office (responsible for Union and Environment). Kamuzora represents Eastern Africa in the Africa, Caribbean, Pacific / European Union (ACP/EU) Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) executive board.

As a Rotarian, he was President of Morogoro Central Rotary Club, Assistant Governor for Morogoro and Dodoma regions, and member of Rotary District 9211, 2014-2015 Team. He is also a proud husband and father, an avid reader and enjoys travelling.
